I bought two Vibia Scotch wall lights, the wet area model for a walkin shower and the regular model for the bathroom ceiling outside the shower. The Ylighting sales rep advised me that the light quality would be a little different, as the wet area bulb is a fluorescent bulb while the dry area bulb is halogen, but he suggested a fluorescent one that would be a closer match. (The Ylighting sales reps are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.). The wet area light does not dim, but the dry area can be hooked to a dimmer switch, which I wanted, so I opted for the mix and match wet area and dry area models. Once installed, you can sort of tell the difference, but it is minimal, and they look great. They don't give off a huge amount of light but it is certainly adequate, and they look great. Stylish wet area lights are not that easy to find. Very happy with the lights and the Ylighting shopping experience.

You never know what you are going to get when you order on line so I was pleasantly surprised when the Scotch wall light arrived. Overall solid looking fixture of thick glass. I wish the light could be dimmed though.

This is just a great light. A beautiful addition, and it works in so many spots. It is true that the light buld is very hard to find, but if you do find (and there are places on the internet, expensive, but well worth it.

High quality design, attractive product with an equally attractive light output. Energy saving bulb (9W) requires separate order. Waterproof and suitable for wet locations.
