Pin It Houzz
Design by Hiroki Takada, 2012.
Made in Italy for Zaneen.
Tutu ceiling lights provide diffused ambient illumination. The design was influenced by the shape of a ballerina's skirt and realized in synthetic Japanese-paper rolls. The design is centered on a single lamp surrounded by a pyrex diffuser and paper rolls, each roll is suspended from a red polymer thread, the threads create a sort of webbing at the top and all together create the full tutu that diffuses the light.
Tutu is offered in two sizes. The fixture uses a universal compact fluorescent base that can accept 26, 32 or 42 watt 4-pin triple tube lamps. This offers flexibility when choosing the light output (lamps not included).
