Carambola attracts our attention with it's honest shape. Conceived by oskar Cerezo, a designer of Basque-Swiss origins now settled in Berlin, it's insinuating roundness and the wood/white light play, give off a diffused light and create a pleasant effect on our environment. Thanks to the simplicity of its lines it features a wide range of uses: private homes, commercial areas and ephemeral architecture. With graphic and precise geometry that suggests a sliced-open fruit, the Carambola Small Pendant is made of wood veneer and polycarbonate that diffuse a pleasant, ambient light. Supplied ceiling canopy in brushed nickel and 8 feet of clear power cord and aircraft cable. LZF's wood veneers are selected to reveal the best natural wood grain effects when illuminated and all have been sourced from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council - FSC. Nothing comes close to the beauty of these veneers as a diffusion material and no other veneer treatment gives the strength and the protection to the material without sacrificing the delicacy and subtleness that this natural material communicates when illuminated.
