This process studies the reflections on the materials, shadowing, and light distribution. The Cask Wall Sconce achieves a balance of these elements as a crisp luster glazes its surface, and fine shadows accentuate the edges of shapes. Mounting with a compact backplate, the short drum adjustable head subtly illustrates the barrel motif in its deep shape and hand-fashioned ring accents. Through the mouth of the barrel, a clean, directed glow streams out, acting as ambient or task light.
