The Copernico 500 Suspension Light by Artemide is a brazen departure from traditional suspension lights. An illumination source inspired by the original, designers Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Paolo Dell'Elce drew inspiration from Copernicus' 1543 model of a heliocentric (sun-centered) universe. Revolving on dual axes, seven rotatable, concentric circles of anodized aluminum hold 384 individual LEDs. This celebration of light, art, and science is available in polished red and white finishes.
