Core Dining Table by Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen from Cane-line
Light and graceful, the Core Dining Table presents a modern design that will easily accent any modern outdoor arrangement with a classy touch. While the teak wood slats line the rounded edge table top, the base mimics the table top with its tapered conical shape; creating an overall contemporary and elegant composition. Though the modern outdoor dining table is minimal in silhouette, the profile is aesthetically rich and undoubtedly sleek. Needless to say, the quality of the table's materials matches the richness of its design with sustainably harvested, WWF/GFTN certified teak wood; which has a naturally high oil content and enables the wood to easily endure outdoor weather conditions. Effortlessly give any outdoor situation a design lift with the Core Dining Table and its Core Collection counterparts.
Cane-line began its journey with the production of high end indoor rattan furniture in 1987. 30 years later, the company has developed into an international company that offers unique, Danish designs for both indoor and outdoor environments. During this time of growth, Cane-line recognized the need for flexible furniture designs that required minimal maintenance and would be able to withstand changing outdoor conditions. As such, improved materials were developed that successfully enhanced the quality and lifespan of their outdoor pieces. Needless to say that while Cane-line strives to continually improve upon their products with the help of carefully selected Danish designers, comfort is not forgotten. As the company's core value and essences revolves around making life comfortable and adding value to life and the familiar spaces reserved for relaxation, the level of comfort meets the quality of the piece. However, the value of ""comfort"" doesn't stop at the products; creating comfortable spaces extends to the realm of awareness of their environmental and social impact by reducing the negative effects of production. Cane-line's responsibility adheres to environmental policies while continuously seeking to improve working conditions in the countries they manufacture with, which has earned them international certifications showing their commitment to safeguarding people and the environment. Cane-line's modern outdoor pieces offer comfort and quality without losing site of their worldly responsibilities. With varying styles for their furniture and accessories, great design for an elevated space is guaranteed.

- The teak tabletop comes untreated. This means that it will acquire a silver grey patina if it is not treated prior to use, and then at regular intervals as required. If the tabletop is treated with a suitable teak oil, the wood will acquire a darker glow, which can be preserved through regular continued treatment. The frequency of the applications will depend on the climate and whether the table is undercover. As a rule of thumb, it is a good idea to oil the tabletop at least once a year.
- If the teak tabletop turns silver grey or black, a suitable teak cleaner can be used. Once the table has been treated with teak cleaner and washed thoroughly with water, it should be allowed to dry. When it is completely dry, oil can be applied. If the tabletop has been left untreated for a long time and acquired a patina, it may have to be rubbed down prior to cleaning.
