The Dioscuri Table Lamp by Artemide is a small scale table lamp, with magnificent glowing luminaires. Dioscuri's close to the ground appearance hides the round metal base, which in turn gives the table lamp a visual floating effect. Excellent design and function
After purchasing and returning a less expensive cylinder lamp that screamed "cheap," I bought the Artemide Dioscuri lamp and love it. It provides just enough diffuse light for my living room. It's simple and elegant. And the cats can't knock it over (big plus).

I really like the lamp. gives off nice amount of light (wont be enough for reading, but still feels bright). takes up small footprint / doesnt occupy a lot of space. minimalist looking

4 if these lamps in different sizes
I bought 4 of these ball lamps in 4 different sizes. The largest arrived totally shattered in 100s of pieces, and after a couple follow ups on my part, YLighting eventually sent me a replacement. After all was said and done there was a happy ending: the lamps are every bit as lovely, romantic, mysterious, as they appear on the web! I haven’t seriously started using them yet because my nightstands haven't arrived yet, but I did try them all out.

Beautiful addition to our home
Cannot say enough good things about the glow and architectural strength of these lights. We've used them in an entryway that had a valuted ceiling with no clear way to light the area. Perched a top a closet that runs alongside the entry, they give a beautiful light to the area, add style to the entrance and are functional with the versatile dimmer switch. So happy to have them.
