This lamp consists of a series of white lacquered disks that float around a chromed semi sphere. The disks act as layers that shield the light source while simultaneously redirecting and reflecting the light onto the underlying disks. All of this combined results in a distinct and unique light which fills and enriches space.

Beautiful fixture with excellent design, but..
The Discoco ceiling light is an incredibly beautiful fixture with a unique design. I had seen the pendant version and decided to install the ceiling mount in my bedroom without seeing it first since the sales rep didn't have any samples. I love the fixture and it sufficiently illuminates my 20X14 bedroom. But, I didn't realize that the space between the bottom panels is so wide. As such, if you're underneath the fixture and looking up, you're looking straight at the lightbulbs. I thought that the lightbulbs would be more hidden. All in all though, it's a fantastic fixture.
