The Drape Multi-Tier Chandelier by SkLO displays an array of unique, individually handblown Czech glass spheres. Creating a lovely space for light to play through, these glass diffusers each have a double-dipped, fire-polished edge where the glass is broken from the blowerโs pipe when they were crafted. Suspended by fabric-wrapped cords from a series of brass rings, this composition combines the disciplines of wife and husband duo Karen Gilbert and Paul Pavlack. Aiming to create simple, subtly beautiful pieces, this statement-worthy design is no exception.
Developed in collaboration between Pavel Hanousek and husband and wife duo Karen Gilbert and Paul Pavlak, the glassblowing company SkLO was founded in the Czech Republic. SkLO, the Czech word for glass, draws inspiration from clean architectural lines and simple forms, Their unique pendants and chandeliers are crafted by glass masters in the Czech Republic and fuse the age-old tradition with modern functionality.
