The Hold's hooking suspension emphasizes the design name while adding a touch of contrast to the glass form. Holding a lamp inside, its sculptural handblown glass shade moves in long curves that soften the look of a space. The clarity of the glass and its clean contours are a testament to the work of its glassmakers in the Czech Republic. The light emphasizes the sharp and organic shapes of the metal and glass in silhouette; it filters out to provide a soothing ambient glow.

Developed in collaboration between Pavel Hanousek and husband and wife duo Karen Gilbert and Paul Pavlak, the glassblowing company SkLO was founded in the Czech Republic. SkLO, the Czech word for glass, draws inspiration from clean architectural lines and simple forms, Their unique pendants and chandeliers are crafted by glass masters in the Czech Republic and fuse the age-old tradition with modern functionality.
