The Lampe Gras 304 Long Arm Hardwired Wall Sconce from DCW Editions is a 20th-century icon showcasing the aesthetic and functional prowess of technical engineering. The sconce was designed originally in 1921 by Bernard-Albin Gras as a means to improve the working conditions of ordinary workers. Grasโs work stressed versatility and ease of use. Function dictated the ultra-refined aesthetic of the Gras collection of luminaires. The sconce reflects this as it provides a 360-degree rotatable arm fitted with an innovative Bakelite ball system for 86-degree adjustability. Sporting no screws or welded elements, the sconce offers 250 and 210-degree adjustable joints for the lampshade. The simple shade satisfies in its light directing, diffusing, and glare-reducing properties. When turned on, the piece provides a clean stream of illumination in any angle it faces.
