The Lampe Gras N°215 Floor Lamp from DCW editions offers a sleek modern presence excellent for enhancing indoor spaces. First designed by Bernard-Albin Gras in 1921, it incorporates utilitarian industrial notes mixed into a smooth-surfaced timeless character created by the deliberately absent screws and welded joints to create a sculptural assembly able to deftly blend with a wide range of décor. It uses a wide steel disc base to steady a single cylindrical tube that travels directly upward, offering a vertical anchor and track for two thinner, adjustable arms that secure the shade. Adjustable through an incredible variety of angles, the lamp’s even illumination suffuses its surroundings in a single warm layer of light.
Established in 2008, DCW’s first item was a reproduction of the Lampe Gras, designed in 1921. This, as well as many of their other designs, are both durable and chic, creating timeless pieces made to last.
