The Liane LED Linear Suspension by Larose Guyon lends a stylish and stately presentation to its surroundings with a simple construction featuring notes of refined design. Taking its designation and design inspiration from Liane de Pougy, the stage name of Folies Bergeres star Anne-Marie Chassaigne, its simple metal construction encloses energy-efficient LEDs to create an enchanting intermix of light and shadow below. Two slim, strong metal stems drop from disc-shaped ceiling mounts above, securing a curved body between them, while a series of fine copper chains crafted by hand encircle the lighting bay to create a softer surface while capturing and reflecting the lamping within.
Larose Guyon produces unique sculptural lighting and objects that strike a balance between traditional craft and refined modernity. Founded in 2015 by Audrée L. Larose and Félix Guyon, Larose Guyon pieces are inspired by the duo’s connection to the landscapes surrounding their Verchères, Quebec workshop.
