Award-winning designer Konstantin Grcic says that the key to his design of the extraordinary Noctambule High Cylinder LED Pendant Light from FLOS was, “transparency and the idea of glass.” Blown Crystal glass cylinders are ordered on top of each other, disappearing into rooms and accented only by dark steel arms and aluminum rings. With natural lighting, the piece shimmers neatly, though when lit, its LEDs and ringed diffusers accentuate each individual form and provide a clean ambient glow. Designer Grcic gives the glass a sense of reverence with this unique contemporary piece.
FLOS lighting has been crafting incredible Italian objects of light since 1962. Playing with light (and its absence) is fundamental to the well-thought "flosophy" of FLOS.
