The Scraplights Disc Pendant Light from Graypants is made in Holland and embodies responsible design. This beautiful pendant is handmade from recycled cardboard. The disc shape provides a warm and practical lighting experience sure to be an eye-catching fixture of any room. When illuminated the light distributes through the small opening of the pendant creating a unique result. This modern pendant light is treated with an environmentally friendly and non-toxic fire retardant. This product comes equipped with a field-adjustable black suspension cord and black canopy.
Architectural duo Seth Grizzle and Jonathan Junker established Graypants, an environmentally-responsible lighting house, in 2007. With home bases in Seattle and Amsterdam, the responsible and eco-chic design house created their first line of pendant lights out of repurposed corrugated cardboard, aptly titled 'scraplights.' While still focusing on recycled pendant lights, the pair continues to expand their design portfolio with various architectural installations and public artworks.
