The Siam Large Semi-Flush Mount Ceiling Light from Bover is a piece designed by Joana Bover as a harmonious blend between her renowned ribbon works and the visual language of the Orient. Like the radiant geometry of an oriental umbrella, sharp lines emanate from a focal point with a graphic design around a tapering form. The polycarbonate shade of ribbon contours is beveled at the top, elegantly concealing a short canopy and fine tubing. Incandescent lamping highlights the creases of the striated form, fans across the ceiling above, and funnels through the circular opening as an evocative downlight.
