It is a classic for a reason.
I have the Black in medium. It is very clean and understated during the day. Then the effect of the reflected light at night is stunning. Plus it creates enough light to be very functional. Make sure to put it on a dimmer if you want to use it to create a mood after dark.

Exquisite!
I purchased two in rust S-1's to hang over my dining room table. They are deceptively simple from a distance although perfectly formed. Once you sit down at the table, it is like discovering a beautifully kept secret. The plaster design on the interior is reminiscent of artisanal work from another more elegant time. They are expensive but the quality of the product is worth the cost.

Incredible! The inside detail to this light is gorgeous. I wish I could have one in every room. I bought the RUST colored one and it feel modern with a soft touch...not too severe!

This is a beautiful light.
I have two minor issues with this product. First, it takes a fluorescent bulb which makes a buzzing sound so I don't use it as much as the other lights in the room. For this reason I think it's too pricey for what you get. It is beautiful though with the simple exterior & the ornate interior.
