Perfect desk lamp
This is a terrific lamp. They are expensive but worth the money. I like incandescent lighting because it is not as hot and white as halogen which hurts my eyes. This lamp uses old-fashioned incandescent bulbs. The lamp can be moved around to wherever you like it over your workspace. Aesthetically, it is gorgeous.

A well designed and engineered lamp that fits in any decor and location---bedside, side-table, work-station,etc. Slim profile accommodates shallow surfaces. Black finish is matt, giving more elegance to lamp. Punctuates minimalist white interior without being ostentatious. On/Off switch on light housing easy to reach.

Great looking stylish and high quality desk lamp that provides excellent lighting.
As others have said, this lamp is definitely eye catching in it's simplicity and style. I purchased the stainless steel and it is really nice. I wasn't sure whether to purchase the Mini lamp or the Micro lamp, but the Mini seems to have been the perfect choice since I work with an Apple desktop computer and the greater reach of the Mini lamp (especially in height) nicely accommodates the computer and overall provides illumination over a greater surface area of my desk. So I made the right choice. In the future, I would definitely consider purchasing one of the Tolomeo color lamps for other rooms.
