A Lighting Family

Founded by David Littman in 1985, Hudson Valley Lighting got its start in the lighting trade three generations ago when David’s father was so impressed by the fluorescent lighting presentation at the 1939 New York World’s Fair that he started to sell lighting products out of his own garage. Hudson Valley Lighting is part of the Hudson Valley Lighting Group, which includes several outstanding lighting brands including Troy Lighting, Corbett Lighting and CSL.

 

High-Quality Designs and Noteworthy Designers

The company uses high-grade materials, leading edge manufacturing techniques and places a strong emphasis on fine details to create its fixtures that enliven well-appointed homes around the world. The company also offers a diverse range of product types, including Hudson Valley Lighting pendants and sconces, chandeliers, island lights, and table and floor lamps, just to name a few. Stylistically, Hudson Valley Lighting offers traditional, contemporary and vintage design motifs that at once address aesthetics and functionality.

Among the company’s most intriguing endeavors is partnering with well-know designers to create outstanding expressions of light. Interior designer Corey Damen Jenkins, known for boldly mixing vibrant colors with layered patterns to create spaces that are at once elegant, inventive and timeless, brings a welcome degree of classic chic to his namesake collection at Hudson Valley Lighting.

Mark D. Sikes, also hailing from the interior design world, lends his talent for mixing American and European, traditional and modern elements, resulting in the refined and textured CLASSICS collection.
