Obsessed with restoring his Mid-Century Modern home with original furniture styles and home decor pieces, Rob Baker founded Modern Mailbox when he was unable to find a vintage Mid-Century Modern mailbox for his home. Initial inspiration hit while strolling through his post-war neighborhood, Baker noticed that every Mid-Century Modern and Atomic Ranch style home was missing a mailbox that spoke to the architecture and design of these homes. Motivated to create a super-clean, modern mailbox, Baker hit upon the perfect design to compliment Mid-Century Modern and Atomic Ranch style homes. Hand-crafted in the United States, these mailboxes use classic shapes, sizes and colors in combination with high-quality steel and powder-coated finishes to create their distinctive modern style. |
